Temporary Assignment (18 months)
The SharePoint Architect/Administrator functions as the technical lead overseeing the architecture, design, development, training and support of the practice’s SharePoint environment. This position is also responsible for providing perspective on the relationship of SharePoint technology to the business opportunities facing the company.
Essential duties and responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Lead information gathering sessions to better understand the practice’s collaboration, workflow, data and document management requirements and opportunities.
- Work closely with end users and stakeholders to determine business requirements as they relate to SharePoint solution opportunities.
- Determine the most effective SharePoint solution architecture and categorizations to address identified business requirements and maximize usability.
- Set SharePoint development project schedules, manage stakeholder expectations and provide timely communications and reporting.
- Lead development and deployment of SharePoint solutions to meet identified requirements, engaging resources as required.
- Create and maintain full documentation of SharePoint architecture.
- Create documentation for users with little to no experience with SharePoint to use any and all tools and capabilities designed and implemented.
- Provide end user support, training and guidance, as required.
- Drive best practice usage and compliance with policy and audit requirements.
- Contribute to improving consistency and effectiveness of information and document governance within the Practice.
- Drive consistency in SharePoint deployment and usage, including categorizations, templates, master pages and security management.
- Administer SharePoint features, applications and functionalities to include but not limited to:
- Regular review, clean-up, management and configuration of SharePoint accounts and sites
- Regularly analyze SharePoint content and storage
- Regular auditing of the SharePoint environment
- Manage SharePoint permissions and user access
- Creation of site collections and sites
- Assess and implement new capabilities
- Set up alerts and enforcing policies
- Troubleshoot, resolve or mitigate issues on SharePoint and systems that support SharePoint
- Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
- Regular and reliable attendance.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field. Or, High School Diploma or GED and a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a SharePoint Architect/Administrator type role.
CERTIFICATIONS, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS:
Microsoft SharePoint certification preferred
